tripsquad start a trip

plans don't die here.

every group chat has a trip that never happens. every solo trip has too many tabs open. tripsquad fixes both.

tap a link. you're in.

no app store. no sign up. no sync code from your friend's instagram bio.

the squad decides.

everyone adds a destination. when voting opens, the squad votes. ties get broken automatically. every option shows whether it fits the squad's budget. the winner lands at the same time, for everyone.

the reveal

everyone sees it
at the same time.

no spoilers in the group chat. no host railroading. when voting closes, the winner lands on every screen at once.

the squad decides. nobody decides for the squad.

the trip has a home.

plan, stays + eats, book. one space per trip, that changes as the trip does. collecting → voting → planning → live → wrapped.

your ai travel companion

meet scout.

ask anything. scout knows the squad. it suggests destinations the group will love, builds the days, and keeps the trip on the rails.

  • suggests destinations the squad will love
  • builds day-by-day itineraries
  • answers in the group chat when @-pinged
  • remembers everyone's vibe and dietary stuff
new in 1.3 squad budget fit

everyone's budget. nobody's specific number.

scout sees what the squad can afford, finds the shared zone, and tunes stays, eats, and trip ideas to match. nobody gets called out for "spending too much." nobody picks a place no one can afford.

anonymous by default. each squadmate sets their range privately. the rest of the squad sees only whether everyone's in the same zone.

see how it works →

going alone? scout adapts.

one set of preferences. smarter solo recommendations. no group prompts, no waiting on votes. tripsquad becomes the planner that actually knows you, for the trips nobody else is free for.

a note from the founder

every group chat i've been in had a trip that didn't happen. ghana with my cousins sat in a thread for two years. paris with college friends. the family reunion that quietly became "next year for sure" four years in a row.

plans don't die because nobody wants the trip. they die because nobody wants to be the host. nobody wants to nudge five people for dates. nobody wants to be the spreadsheet person.

so i made tripsquad. invites that don't need an app. voting that's actually fair. scout does the work nobody wants to do. the squad does the part that's fun.

a year in, the app handles the parts that matter most. solo trips for the ones nobody else is free for. a daylight mode that's a real, considered light mode (not a lazy invert). and squad budget fit, which lets the squad coordinate money without anyone naming a number.

it's me building this, with a small team at afia labs. if it works for your squad, tell a friend. if it doesn't, tell me.
